Jo created this oil painting after observing the beautiful, yellow-green and gold colours in the waters off Ventnor here the Isle of Wight. She used chalk pastels to record the fleeting colours and tones of the waves and shoreline. These sketches were then used as references for Jo to work with and create this larger painting in her studio.
