Winnie Hanrahan was born in 1942. She studied painting and textile design at West Sussex College of Arts and Crafts. She has been commissioned for many of wildlife paintings, and has designed and executed several murals in a Zoo theme park and private homes. She also worked for several years designing greetings cards for The Medici Society. Winnie has exhibited landscape and marine paintings (in oil, watercolour and pastel) all over the UK.
