Neville Fleetwood studied at the Huddersfield School of Art. He then worked in a graphic art studio before starting his own business signwriting. Neville retired early in order to become a full time painter. He has held exhibitions at the following galleries: Manchester Fine Arts Society, Harrogate Art Gallery, Batley Art Gallery, Hull Art Gallery, Mill House Gallery, Kentmere Gallery. Thompsons Gallery, Bank Street Gallery, Forest Gallery, Century Gallery, New English Art Club, Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Society of Oil Painters, Ainscough Contemporary Art. Galleries with permanent collections of Neville's work include Noots Gallery, Forest Gallery, Century Gallery, Panter and Hall 1997 elected AROI 1998 won presidents award at ROI 1999 elected full member ROI 2000 won Cornelisson prize ROI 2000 won Fabrica Award ROI
