Peter was born in Chingford, London in 1932. He studied painting at St Martin's School of Art and then at London University. He has exhibited with the Arts Council in London, Belfast and Dublin, with the Welsh Arts Council, at the Whitechapel Gallery and the Southern Arts Association. One-man shows include at the Grosvenor, Woodstock Drian and Alwyn Galleries. His paintings are in public and private collections in Britain and abroad. He has work with several universities, Lloyds of London, the Palace of Westminster, the National Trust and industrial organisations like ICI. Peter is mounted two large exhibitions in South West France in autumn 1998. At Riberac (Dordogne) in October and Gaillac (Tarn) in November, both sponsored by Brittany Ferries, P&O European Ferries, Wightlink Ferries and the Quay Arts Centre Newport.
