David Howell paints in watercolour, pastel and oils. His subjects vary, but a major part of his work is marine and landscape and he travels widely in search of new material. He also paints equestrian subjects with particular emphasis on racing.
David's paintings are regularly featured in galleries in London and the UK in general as well as the Middle East, USA and Hong Kong. He has had many one-man shows in this country and overseas and in the past 12 months has had work exhibited at the Royal West of England Academy, The Royal College of Art, The Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Kato Gallery in Tokyo. Plans for the rest of the year include another London one-man show in November, painting trips to the Scottish Highlands, Poland and Venice.
He undertakes commissions for clients in the corporate sector both in the UK and abroad and his paintings hang in private and company collections in locations as diverse as boardrooms on the City of London to Royal Palaces in Arabia. David is a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Society of Equestrian Artists.
